You are probably here because you have either read Ernie Knoll's dreams at 4hispeople.com or someone has told you about them and you are trying to determine whether or not they are from God. It is always good to seek out what others are saying, but remember you need to make a decision not based on others opinions, but by praying for the Holy Spirit to guide you as you carefully compare what the dreams say with the Bible and Spirit of Prophecy. As the Bible says: "To the law and to the testimony: if they speak not according to this word, it is because there is no light in them." - Isaiah 8:20. Don't trust your salvation to another (and that includes this website).
The purpose of this site
When you do a web search on Ernie Knoll, it is hard to miss the many critics who have publicly raised serious allegations against the dreams. However as you carefully read what they have to say, you come away with the feeling that what they have said is simply subjective opinions and not a "thus saith the Lord."
For example, one Bible student has said to us, "Where do you find in the Bible or the Spirit of Prophecy that angels or the person receiving the dreams or visions walks through walls?" Based on that point alone, they rejected the dreams. Dear friends, we need to rise above unbiblical tests if we are going to be open to God's leading. Such objections are flawed as you will see on the Answering the Critics pages.
We felt it was necessary to reveal the many opinions of man for what they are, so that people who have an open mind will be better equipped to make a sound decision regarding the dreams. Some of those who criticize the dreams we have high regard for, and surely God has used them up until now. However we have been warned that "Many a star that we have admired for its brilliance will then go out in darkness." - PK p. 188. We pray this will not be the case with them and that they will heed the warnings given while there is still time.
We are also told that "One thing is certain: Those Seventh-day Adventists who take their stand under Satan's banner will first give up their faith in the warnings and reproofs contained in the Testimonies of God's Spirit." -3SM p. 84. And "The very last deception of Satan will be to make of none effect the testimony of the Spirit of God. "Where there is no vision, the people perish" (Prov. 29:18). Satan will work ingeniously, in different ways and through different agencies, to unsettle the confidence of God's remnant people in the true testimony." - 1SM p. 48.
Could it be that the "true testimony" is not limited to the writings of Ellen White, but encompass other messengers before the second coming of our Lord, Jesus Christ?
What this site is not about
This site was not designed to condemn people. That is why you will not find us mentioning by name anyone or any website that criticizes the dreams (UPDATE: we have received an email from an important study group that call itself "The Great Commission Council" which we have added to the testimonies page that does mention some critics by name. Because of the importance of the email, we felt it should be added in its entirety to this website for all those honestly seeking to know the truth about Ernie's dreams.) We will of course quote the critics, but that is as far as we will go. Jesus said: "Judge not, that ye be not judged. For with what judgment ye judge, ye shall be judged: and with what measure ye mete, it shall be measured to you again." - Matthew 7:1, 2
We need to remain open
We pray that as you read through this site and decide for yourselves the true nature of Ernie's dreams, your heart might remain open and you will indeed hear the voice of Jesus, as He says "My sheep hear my voice, and I know them, and they follow me: And I give unto them eternal life; and they shall never perish, neither shall any man pluck them out of my hand." - John 10:27, 28
